Filtration Performance
The combination of the SMF engineering and the structure of internal media such as hollow carbon ensures much higher contact time compared to reliance on just traditional radiant flow designs. But it's the combination of turbo and radiant flows which magnifies filtration performance significantly.

Hollow Carbon Technology
As this electron microscopic view shows, the carbon contains small void spaces that act as a mechanical filter. This property removes dust particles, while eliminating the need for a membrane or pre-filter. Yet the filter technology still allows high flow rates and low pressure drops. Simply put, there is no other filter that performs better.

Micro-Pore Membrane
Filtration is further enhanced by the properties of this material, a porous wrapper that ensures the maximum efficiency of the Hollow Carbon particles within. The result is excellent reduction of chlorine, chloramine, odor, live cyst, microspheres, and turbidity. The SMF filters provide ten times the capacity of conventional filters for particulate removal.

System Scalability
